What is the difference between plastering and skimming?+
Skimming applies a smooth finishing coat to a suitable existing surface. The right approach depends on the condition of the wall or ceiling, which Leigh can assess when viewing the job.
Can you skim existing walls and ceilings?+
Often, yes. The surface must first be checked to make sure it is suitable and to identify any preparation required.
Do you provide plasterboarding?+
No. Budge Bros provides plastering and skimming, but we do not offer plasterboarding.
Do you work across the whole Isle of Wight?+
Yes. We undertake domestic and commercial enquiries Islandwide.
